Race Report EDR #1: Loudenvielle

Loudenvielle EDR: Vid takes 32nd on season opener

Vid Peršak came to Pyrenees to test his form against the best enduro riders in the world, on the race that has a traditional status in the series. Loudenvielle race had five stages, Vid showed his best on the very last, after he did some changes to his setup.

Enduro opener was a one-day affair with five stages, but the day on the bike was still very long and very challenging, especially under the hot sun. Vid had a rough start of the day, but found his pace before the last stage and finished the race in 32nd place. Important part is that he knows what went wrong and can go with more confidence to Leogang.

Vid Peršak: “The start was quite difficult, I didn’t feel well. Maybe I made a mistake with the selection of tires, they were just not rolling fast on this terrain. Before the last stage I changed them for the ones I had been riding all winter, and the speed was back, so was a good result. I am very pleased that I worked well over the winter, but on the other hand a little angry that I made the wrong choice. It was a very hot weekend and a very tiring, physically and technically difficult race. A real enduro. A real ‘vibe’. Thanks to the team for the support.”

Results:
