Reece Wilson
Reece Wilson is a 28-year old elite downhill mountain bike racer from Scotland. Whilst known for being 2020 World Champion, he is also a World Cup Winner and one of the fastest downhill racers in the world.
With years of experience on factory teams, Reece’s dream was to work with like-minded individuals and develop a bike and a race program without compromise.
A niche Swiss company known for producing high-end, CNC-machined mountain bikes,
GAMUX are dedicated to racing at the highest level. Over the years, they have gained attention for their innovative designs and high quality components. Their goal is simple: To work together with the riders and create the fastest bike on the planet.
Slovenia-based Rajd Sports Management and Rajd Cycling Club have managed and operated professional mountain bike teams under names such as Unior Tools Team, Unior-Devinci Factory Racing, and Unior Sinter Factory Racing. With over 15 years of experience, they run one of the longest-standing programs in the UCI World Cup, bringing deep expertise in all aspects of mountain bike racing and the sport as a whole. Beyond elite competition, the club plays a key role in developing cycling infrastructure in Ljubljana, operates the largest mountain bike and BMX school in Slovenia, and manages several development teams—including Bikehanic-Lumar and Rajd Ljubljana—that will support AON in nurturing the next generation of talent.
Known for their ‘commercial alchemy,’ NET have been creating partnerships for athletes, brands and teams since 2018. Their portfolio of brands and athletes from all over the world shapes long lasting relationships that powers the sport we love.
OUR MISSION:
To be recognised by our fans and peers as a leading brand in the evolution and transformation of mountain bike racing.
To be recognised for our unity and collaboration with our riders and partners.
To create high-performing bikes that win races through innovation, disruption and cutting-edge technology.
In Scottish Gaelic, “AONachd” means unity, concord, sameness, and unanimity. It’s a general term for the state of being united or in agreement.*
That’s why we named our team AON. Because everything we do is done in unity with our partners and for our athletes. We work hard to create an environment with little compromise, because every athlete should have the opportunity to reach their full potential.
Cue the bike. AON is one of the very few pure prototype downhill race teams in the 2025 Whoop UCI MTB World Series. This means we are completely unrestricted in terms of components and equipment partners, ensuring a competitive edge at every race.
We leverage cutting-edge technology to create custom race bikes that are unparalleled in innovation. This enables us to tailor each bike to meet the specific needs and demands of individual racers, providing them with the best possible opportunity to excel at the highest levels of the sport.
NOT JUST A RACE TEAM
As well as winning races, we exist to inspire and motivate local brands in Scotland, Slovenia and Switzerland to have a positive impact on the next generation and the environment.
We aim to create an aspirational brand that motivates and inspires people to get outside, experience nature and look after their trails. (Find out more about our sustainability programme here).
