Hattie Harnden Claims Record-Breaking 18th National Title
At the 2026 Lloyds National Downhill Championships, held at the Revolution Bike Park in Llangynog, Wales, Hattie Harnden added yet another chapter to her already remarkable career — taking home her 18th national title.
The track was dry and loose all weekend, punishing anyone who put a wheel wrong. But Hattie was in a league of her own, laying down a sensational run to finish over 2 seconds clear of second place. It’s the kind of gap that speaks for itself on a course this technical, and a firm reminder of why she remains one of the most dominant cyclists in British history.
A Strong Weekend for the Whole Team
It wasn’t just Hattie flying the AON Racing flag in Wales. Stan Nisbet put in a strong ride to take bronze in the Men’s Junior category. Stan was clearly racing for the top step, and while the perfect run didn’t quite come together on the day, a podium finish at this level is a great result — and a sign of more to come from him.
