La Thuile EDR
Vid is getting better with each of the races, and stages! He always said that he gets energy from the fans, and he got plenty of that on the night stage here in La Thuile. He took 12th on the stage (his best this season) and pushed himself up to 26th place!
Enduro race in La Thuile was pure joy for a real mountain biker. First and third stages were proper big mountain rides, the second connected the mountain and the village. Fourth and last stage was pure spectacle, with night race with the biggest crowds we have seen all weekend in La Thuile.
Vid was racing at a steady pace in the first three stages and exploded in the last one, setting his best result of the season and get some valuable points in the Whoop UCI MTB World Series standings.
His super visible, Gates belt-driven Nicolai is a proper machine for this kind of riding with lots of sharp rocks and big hits. It’s also a fan favourite bike.
Results:
S1: 30th, S2: 31st, S3: 27t, S4: 12th
Final result: 26th
