Fort William: Dominant victory by Hattie
A return to the legendary Fort William track, where the Scottish weather played a major role throughout the weekend — as it already did so many times in the past. We don’t have World Cup in the Scottish Highlands anymore, but the UCI Continental Series race (part of iXS European Downhill Cup) brought a lot of top-tier riders to the starting gates.
Saturday’s qualifying conditions were cold but still manageable. Henry and Hattie both delivered fantastic qualifying performances, while Reece and Stan had some unfortunate luck that left them starting further back for Sunday’s finals.
By race day, everything had changed. Rain and even snow arrived overnight, turning the track into a completely different challenge. Despite the difficult conditions, the team delivered some outstanding rides.
Hattie dominated the Women Elite category, taking victory by more than 20 seconds with an incredibly strong and controlled run in the harsh conditions.
Stan fought his way to 3rd place in Juniors despite dealing with significant traffic during his race run, showing great composure on one of the toughest tracks on the calendar.
Reece also claimed 3rd place after being forced into a re-run following a red flag interruption. He handled the pressure perfectly and put together excellent finals run.
Henry finished in 4th place, missing the podium by just 0.034 seconds behind Reece in an incredibly tight battle.
Another fantastic race weekend for the team and another strong step forward as the season continues.
