Leogang Delivers a Wild Weekend of Racing
Mud, Momentum, and Determination in Leogang
The team just wrapped up an unforgettable weekend at Leogang, one of the most iconic and demanding stops on the UCI MTB World Series calendar. From qualification day to a mud-soaked Enduro finale, our riders showed grit, growth, and undeniable talent.
Qualification: Grit and Heart on Display
Qualification day brought out the best in the team, with impressive performances that highlighted both resilience and raw speed.
We’re proud to report that Hattie Harnden, Monika Hrastnik, and Stan Nisbet all advanced to finals.
Hattie Harnden and Monika Hrastnik both had uncharacteristically tough Q1 runs, but bounced back in Q2 with fire and focus. Their Q2 times would have placed them 3rd and 4th in Q1, showing they were well within the pace of the race leaders. Their ability to reset and come back stronger is a testament to their mental strength.
Stan Nisbet qualified 16th, even with a significant mistake in the top section of the track. It was a performance that reflected his rapidly developing racecraft—and he’s still just 17.
Reece Wilson found rhythm and flow again after a tough stretch, but a crash in Q1 ended his bid for finals. Still, the signs of a return to form are encouraging.
Henry Kerr, still recovering from a heavy crash in Loudenvielle the week before, showed unbelievable toughness. Racing with a damaged ankle (thankfully no concussion, thanks to his 6D helmet), he pushed to the very edge and only just missed the finals cut. A warrior’s effort.
Finals Recap: A Day of Intensity, Breakthroughs, and Big Efforts
Finals day delivered everything you expect from Leogang—technical sections, unpredictable grip, and the pressure of the world’s biggest stage.
Hattie Harnden – 8th Place
Hattie put together one of her best World Cup performances to date. Confident, clean, and composed, her run was a clear step forward in execution and race-day sharpness. She flowed through the technical woods and carried speed where others struggled, finishing just seconds off the podium in 8th place. Her progression this season is tangible—and exciting.
Monika Hrastnik – 13th Place
Monika had the speed all weekend, but a few minor errors in finals kept her just outside the top 10. She attacked the course with her usual aggressive style but was slightly off her rhythm in key sections. Still, 13th place in such a stacked field is a strong result—and one that only fuels her fire for the next round.
Stan Nisbet – 19th Place
Stan’s run had the makings of a breakout performance. He looked fast and confident through the upper sections, but a late crash cost him crucial seconds. Even with that, he still managed 19th—a phenomenal achievement considering his age and experience level. His raw pace and composure under pressure are well ahead of his years.
Enduro: Mud, Mayhem & True Grit from Vid Persak
As if the weekend hadn’t delivered enough drama, the Enduro race on Sunday turned into a true survival test. Torrential rain turned the trails into deep mud ruts, slick roots, and wheel-sucking bogs.
Vid Persak lined up ready to face it all. Across six brutally slippery stages, Vid stayed focused, avoided major mistakes, and powered through some of the worst conditions we’ve seen all year. He crossed the line in 34th place—a result that doesn’t fully capture the sheer physical and mental toll this race demanded. Vid’s persistence and steady hand in chaos were a huge asset for the team.
Looking Ahead
Leogang gave us a little bit of everything—top-10 finishes, breakthrough performances, and a reminder of how tough this sport can be. We’re proud of the entire squad and motivated by the momentum we’re building.
As we look ahead to the next round, we carry not just results—but the lessons, confidence, and fire that this weekend brought to life.
